Port Austin will turn porches, yards and public spaces into small stages Saturday, June 27, 2026, as Porch Fest XI brings a full afternoon of live music to the Lake Huron village.
The free, one-day event is scheduled from 1 to 5 p.m. and will feature performers at 26 sites across town. The lineup includes solo acts, duos, folk groups, rock bands, jazz players, country musicians and big band performers. The event is organized as a walkable music day, with residents opening their homes and yards to the public.
Now in its 11th year, Porch Fest has become one of Port Austin’s best-known summer events. Organizers describe it as a community-backed celebration supported by local hosts, businesses, volunteers, civic groups and donations.

Saturday evening performances are scheduled at Lake Street Local, 170 W. State, The Farm Restaurant, Pak’s Backyard, Days on the Lake and The Landing Tavern. A birthday celebration at 274 W. Spring also is listed, with The Country Poor Boys performing.

Local Hosts Carry Much Of The Event
Porch Fest depends on residents who make private spaces available for public music. This year’s host list includes homes, businesses, the Village Green stage, United Protestant Church and the Veterans Park Pavilion.
Organizers also are asking attendees to treat each site with care and leave properties as they found them. Donation jars and 50/50 raffles help support the event.
Donations may be made online at PortAustinMusic.com or by mail to Greater Port Austin Arts & Placemaking, also known as GPAAP, with “Porch Fest” listed in the memo line.
