Marlette & Elkton Recieve $150,000 Each in Recreation Passport funding for Ackerman Trail and Marlette Pool House Improvements

The Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) announced today that 16 municipalities would receive almost $2 million in Recreation Passport funding. The Recreation Passport grant program began 11 years ago with the purpose of increasing visitors and financing to Michigan state parks while also providing additional cash for smaller, community parks and trail enhancements around the state.
