Muskegon Lakeshore Museum Center Sets Night at the Museum Fundraiser For Oct. 3

Lakeshore Museum Center will host Night at the Museum Oct. 3 at the Muskegon Museum of History and Science. Tickets start at $60 before prices rise Sept. 1.

MUSKEGON, Mich. — Lakeshore Museum Center will host its Lumber Barons Ball Presents: Night at the Museum fundraiser Oct. 3 at the Muskegon Museum of History and Science.

The adults-only event is scheduled for 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the museum, 430 W. Clay Ave. It is open to guests 21 and older.

The evening will feature live entertainment, themed music, interactive performances and museum exhibits presented after dark. The West Side Soul Surfers are scheduled as the featured entertainment.

Organizers said the event will include a “time-traveling tavern,” food stations and sweets from the “Occidental Cafe” by Hometown Creamery. Guests are encouraged to wear clothing inspired by a favorite historic era or dress as a notable figure from Muskegon or world history.

Tickets are on sale now. Admission is $60 through Aug. 31 and increases to $65 from Sept. 1 through Oct. 3.

The event is a fundraiser for Lakeshore Museum Center.
