This c1920s real-photo postcard labeled “Residence, Port Austin, Mich.” shows a grand, wraparound-porch home that still turns heads today.
That house is now 85ten Boutique Hotel & Events on Lake Street, a restored historic property that hosts overnight stays and small events. Reporting and the hotel’s own history note the building dates to the 1850s and has gone through several chapters — including being known as “Questover” and operating as an assisted living/day services site for a time.
