Caseville Fisheries

Caseville Fisheries – Between the 1800s and 1950, several companies operated commercial fishing ventures in and around Caseville, Michigan. Saginaw Bay Fish Company: Established in Caseville on March 16, 1910, this company was a significant branch of the Bay Port Fish Company. Initially, W.J. Orr was the principal stockholder, but by 1915, the Wallace family had acquired majority ownership. By 1940 the Bay Port Fish Company maintained only the branches at Caseville and East Tawas.
