Cash and other valuables were also discovered.

In addition, the Huron County Drug Task Force conducted a search warrant at a house in Hume Township. Cocaine and other paraphernalia were discovered during a search of the residence.

March Actions

Patrol Deputies from the Huron County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the village of Sebewaing to investigate a suspicious person allegation. Deputies investigated the report and found methamphetamine at a home in the hamlet of Sebewaing. Finally, during an inquiry into the transportation of cocaine and fentanyl, a Bad Axe man and woman were apprehended. The Huron County Drug Task Force conducted the investigation over many months.

April Investigations

A Huron County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Deputy performed a traffic check near Bad Axe in April and discovered the motorist was in possession of a scale and methamphetamine, as well as being on parole. A car check-in in Caseville Township by a Huron County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Deputy resulted in the seizure of methamphetamine and fentanyl. A 26-year-old Millington man was arrested for the incident, and he was also on parole. Finally, a Bad Axe lady was arrested on outstanding warrants for methamphetamine and fentanyl possession. The allegations arise from a Huron County Drug Task Force investigation that included a search warrant of a house last October.
