The Gagetown flour and grist mill, shown here in the early 1900s, was built in 1881 by the Randall brothers. Separate from the earlier mill built by James Gage, this operation became a key part of Gagetown’s agricultural economy, grinding grain for local farmers and supporting the village’s growth as a farming center. The mill stood near the site that today is home to Vita Plus, which continues to serve Michigan’s agricultural community.
