Pinnebog, in Huron County’s Thumb region, was once a busy rural crossroads near Kinde and Pinnebog roads. Local history accounts describe a much larger community around the turn of the 20th century, with stores, trades, churches, a hotel, a gristmill and other businesses.

The date is not fully confirmed from the image alone; the card is labeled around 1908, and a matching postcard listing identifies the view as “Street View Michigan St., Pinnebog MI Michigan 1908.”
