PEMBROKE, Ky. – A dramatic rescue unfolded in Pembroke, Kentucky, when an Amish man sprang into action, using his team of horses to pull a car from floodwaters, saving two trapped individuals before first responders arrived. According to reports, the Pembroke Fire Department received an emergency call about a vehicle stranded in rising water. However, upon their arrival, the situation had already been resolved in a manner few would have anticipated.

Eyewitnesses described how an unidentified Amish man quickly assessed the situation, secured the car to his horses, and successfully pulled it to safety. The two individuals inside, whose identities have not yet been released, escaped unharmed.

“We got there, and the job was already done,” a Pembroke Fire Department spokesperson stated. “It’s not every day you see a car towed out of water by a team of horses.”
