President Biden’s Apology Spurs Michigan Schools to Finally Teach Indigenous History
In response to President Biden’s apology for abusive Indian boarding school policies, Michigan educators are participating in training to enhance the teaching of Indigenous history. The Michigan Department of Education will host webinars to promote comprehensive Indigenous education and reclaim Indigenous knowledge, fostering cultural understanding and addressing sensitive historical topics.
