The Huron Community Fair in Bad Axe is the longest continually running fair in Michigan. It offers fun, entertainment and a chance to see and learn farming life for all ages.
It happened by pure chance. I was working with Google Maps around the Rush Lake State Game Area, and an icon for a business came into view. A hobby shop, how intriguing. Gaeth N Scale Models is located on Sand Road, not far from Philp County Park and our cottage. How cool is that! Here is my virtual interview with Mark Gaeth.
Pellet smokers (aka pellet grills, wood pellet smokers, or pellet smoker grills) are on the newer side of meat-smoking technology. The Harbor Beach Maritime Festival in Michigan offers a delightful mix of music, camping, and family-friendly activities celebrating the region’s rich maritime heritage. The festival features free concerts, diverse acts, and a range of entertainment and attractions from July 10th to 14th, 2024.
Port Hope is hosting its 38th annual 4th of July Festival the weekend of July 5-7th With a flea market, games fireworks and parade.
It’s a great tradition and another sign of returning to normal for the summer of 2024.
