Caseville Holly Berry Fair Returns Nov. 7 With 140 Vendors and Holiday Shopping

The free holiday craft fair will fill two Caseville venues with handmade gifts, seasonal decorations, food and family activities while helping support local students.

CASEVILLE, Mich. — Christmas shopping begins early in Caseville this weekend as the annual Holly Berry Fair returns Saturday, Nov. 7, with approximately 140 vendors offering handmade gifts, holiday decorations and seasonal treats.

The popular holiday tradition runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Caseville Public Schools (6609 Vine St.) and the Caseville Family Arena (6941 Main St.). Admission is free at both locations.

The fair brings together local artisans, retailers, and visitors from across Michigan’s Thumb region. It also marks the beginning of Holly Berry Weekend, when participating downtown businesses welcome shoppers with holiday merchandise and seasonal promotions.

Caseville Holly Berry Fair 2026 Features 140 Vendors at Two Locations

Caseville Public Schools representative Theresa Hoard told the Huron Daily Tribune that organizers expect approximately 140 new and returning vendors this year. Most will exhibit at the school, while about 40 will participate in the Deck the Halls Craft Show at the nearby Family Arena, also known as the Caseville Roller Rink. Shoppers can expect fresh Christmas wreaths, greenery, handmade jewelry, glassware, baked goods, crafts, and other holiday merchandise.

Many vendors come from Huron County, although others travel from throughout Michigan to participate. The fair has traditionally drawn a large crowd of holiday shoppers looking for gifts not available at major retailers. Last year’s event featured approximately 200 vendors. While the expected number is lower this year, organizers report that all available vendor spaces at the school have been filled.

Interested exhibitors can contact Hoard about joining a waiting list.

Holiday Fair Helps Support Caseville Students

The Holly Berry Fair is more than a shopping event. It also raises money for student activities and needs at Caseville Public Schools. Students and volunteers will run food concessions all day, selling popcorn, candy bars, and other refreshments.

Breakfast and lunch will be available, giving visitors a chance to stay at the fair while shopping. Additional activities include raffles and photographs with Santa Claus. Proceeds from school concessions will support student programs and activities.

The event’s community fundraising tradition dates back decades. Originally organized by the Caseville Library Club, the fair helped fund local charitable organizations and student scholarships.

Caseville Public Schools took over organizing the event in 2021, continuing a tradition that began in the late 1960s. The school’s involvement has helped maintain the fair as a community gathering and seasonal fundraiser.

Downtown Caseville Businesses Join Holly Berry Weekend

Although the craft shows take place only on Saturday, Holly Berry Weekend extends into Caseville’s downtown shopping district. The Caseville Area Chamber of Commerce says local retailers and restaurants will participate throughout the weekend, encouraging visitors to shop and dine in town.

For a community known for summer tourism, the November event gives businesses a chance to attract customers during the quieter fall season. The fair also lets Michigan artisans reach customers looking for locally made Christmas gifts.

A Long-Running Caseville Holiday Tradition

The Holly Berry Fair has been a Huron County holiday fixture for more than five decades. Its long history reflects the community’s support for local craftspeople, schools, and volunteer organizations. The event was canceled in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic but returned under school leadership in 2021.

Organizers continue to offer free admission, making the fair accessible to families and visitors of all ages. The Caseville Area Chamber of Commerce calls the 2026 gathering the 59th annual fair, though other published accounts cite a different anniversary.

Regardless of the count, the event remains one of Caseville’s established holiday shopping traditions.

What to Know Before Visiting

The Holly Berry Fair takes place Saturday, Nov. 7, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Admission is free at Caseville Public Schools and the Caseville Family Arena. Both locations offer holiday shopping, while the school will host concessions and family activities. Visitors can extend their trip by visiting participating downtown shops and restaurants throughout Holly Berry Weekend.

Additional information is available from the Caseville Area Chamber of Commerce or Caseville Public Schools. For holiday shoppers, the event offers an early start on Christmas gift buying while helping support Caseville students and local businesses.
