Mecosta
Mecosta’s depot, lumber businesses, stores and farm shipments form the center of this Michigan Moments video. Historical views follow the village through its railroad years and the growth of nearby recreation businesses.
The episode also covers the Old Settlers and the Little River community near School Section Lake. Images of schools, hotels, warehouses and work crews show the people and institutions behind the village’s development.
