These properties in the DNR auction are located in Alcona, Allegan, Benzie, Berrien, Chippewa, Clare, Genesee, Huron, Kalkaska, Kent, Lake, Mackinac, Mason, Mecosta, Menominee, Midland, Newaygo, Roscommon, and Saginaw Counties.
Former DNR Garage Will Be Available in Caseville
The DNR Administration Building and Garage has sat unused for several years.
The listing indicated that the 4 bay garage sits on .91 acres and has 200 feet frontage along M-25. It’s zoned R1 residential.
The description indicates it’s in rough shape. There are holes in the roof, and it’s in general disrepair.
From the description:”Not bad structurally (minus the roof). Built on a slab and 4 overhead doors, this could be rehabbed into a useful building.” There are also indications of frozen pipes, mold, and a notion of ” Title reverter issues – buyer beware (DNR will supply a copy of the deed upon request). The auction will take place on August 31, 2021 – from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. The auction will be online only. The minimum bid is $49,000.
