Michigan Wind 2 Construction

Exelon is America’s 12th largest wind producer, with 47 projects in 10 states and nearly 1,500 megawatts of energy. Wind power captures the natural, renewable energy source in our atmosphere and converts it to electricity.

The completion of this project in 2012 brought Exelon Wind’s generating capacity in Michigan to 212 MWs. This puts Exelon Wind as the largest wind operator in Michigan in terms of generated power. The project is located near the 46 turbines of the Michigan Wind 1 project in Ubly.

Exelon Wind also operates Harvest I Wind in Elkton and Harvest II Wind, near Pigeon.
