Rocky North Shore Beach Near Grand Maris - Today, one of the country’s most extensive series of waterfalls rests on Lake Superior’s north shore. Head north along the coast from Duluth along Route 61. The area is home to unique natural attractions. The main attraction of these places is the numerous state parks along Lake Superior. According to some research assumptions, it is a preserved part of a once colossal sea.
