Saginaw Bay and surrounding areas are starting to see ice coverage. Hopefully it will be solid in time for 2017s Shanty Days Festival in Caseville.

As of January 3, 2017, the Great Lakes had 3.1% ice cover.  You can see some ice has formed in Green Bay, Saginaw Bay and in Black Bay in Lake Superior.  The cold pattern we are in will acceler…
