The World Learned Flint Water Crisis

The ongoing saga of the failure of Michigan’s state and local government’s response and handling of the Flint Michigan’s water crisis turned into a  global story in the media. Most noteworthy was that in  January 2016  TIME magazine published an expose on the Flint Water Crisis; The Poisoning Of An American City. Time’s coverage caused the local story to be covered in national newspapers and global cable and TV news. 

Time Magazine, is an American weekly news magazine published in New York City,  founded in 1923. Its published in Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa and Latin America.

Furthermore, Time has the world’s largest circulation for a weekly news magazine, and has a readership of 25 million, 20 million of which are based in the United States.
